Full Scribe
Generally pre-built off site, these one-of-a-kind log structures are all hand crafted by experienced and qualified logsmiths.
 The full scribe method is generally the most costly of our three methods, but it is also the most unique in style. The entire wall is of log therefore your options of “fancy arches” or unique characteristics are greatly increased.
We meet or exceed the log building standards for residential, hand-crafted, interlocking, scribe fit construction set out by the Canadian Log Builders Association.
A typical log shell package consists of full scribed log walls, log second floor beams, log ridge and/or purlins. Options are log stairs, log railings and log furniture to match.
Here is some of what can be done with a full scribed log wall. Your options of “fancy arches” or unique characteristics are greatly increased.
Interior partitions are often chosen using the traditional 2x4-frame wall system. Slots in the log wall need to be made for proper fitting.
All windows and doors must be installed using a “floating system”. This coupled with settling space above the unit will ensure trouble free use. Keep in mind there is more than one right way to finish the log flares around the openings… which is your preference?
